Next Head Coach in Oxford

Dablow has no need for escorts....he has momma as his back up.
Do you really think comments like this reflect well on us? Call Davi anything you want but going through rough times and sharing a room with his mother is actually a pretty solid thing to do. Not many of us would because we'd be embarrassed. He's a cheerleader annoying guy that has no football iq but let's leave our insults to that realm.

I say Les Miles rides in on a white horse to screw with Saban and LSU. Ole Miss win the west in 2020 but has to sit at home because they are still banned from the postseason lol

Whoever it is, he better bring a big shovel cause there is lot of crap to move to get the program back on track.

They need an seasoned hand to take the reigns. Find a coach that can rally the kids around him and just work. I think back to our own past and in retrospect we should have hired a much more experienced coach instead of Sparky Woods. They have to take a long view here...there is no way around not having the program hit the skids...that is done. However, they can save themselves years of heartache if they hire a guy that knows how to concentrate on the things he can control and ignore the rest....and to instill that same outlook on his players. That sort of understanding is usually a concept that more advanced aged and experienced people come to have.

Miles I think would be a prime example of the qualities needed...if he would take it. I think first though....the school needs to cut out all the cancer...and there is much more than just Freeze. Ole Miss is in as bad a spot here as a program can find itself in.

Chad Morris seems to be 1st choice for them. He might not want to leave the state of Texas though.
Why would anyone want him? Has he done something at smu I missed? Maybe for an oc but Clemson seems to be doing better without him.

Former LSU head coach Les Miles is "extremely interested" in the head coaching vacancy at Ole Miss, according to USA Today's Dan Wolken.

The report says Miles, 63, has made it known to the "money folks" with the Rebels how interested he is.

Wolken then added in another tweet that Miles would be interested in "any Power 5" coaching position.

Hugh Freeze resigned from Ole Miss on Thursday of last week. Yahoo Sports' Pat Forde reported Freeze used a school-issued phone to call an escort service.

The Rebels have also been under NCAA investigation for 21 violations, including 15 that are Level I violations ranging from boosters paying recruits and fixing ACT test results to impermissible contact by an assistant coach to recruits.

Ole Miss has named Matt Luke, previously the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, as the interim coach.

Did not matter who was our coach in 1992, we were just so far behind the rest of the SEC.

Oh that is definitely true......but what I am talking about is more than the immediate wins and loses. I am talking about all the rumor...contention and unsettled atmosphere that surrounded the program at that time. We pick on Sparky but he was not a bad coach...it was more of the outside noise that he was not able to navigate with the program. When you have that type of situation...a young coach from a Div II program is not going to handle the tensions and pressures that we were under at that time.
