I am trying to distract myself from the upcoming game on Thursday and my roomate and I were sitting around discussing uniform changes we would like to see in the NFL. Figured I would share my thoughts with you guys. Feel free to add your own.

I will preface this by saying I am more of a "classic" uniform guy.

First let me start with the teams that I believe have perfect. This is my list of the top 10 uniforms in the sport, none of which do I see any reason for change.

1. 49ers
2. Raiders
3. Steelers
4. Colts
5. Cowboys
6. Giants
7. Chiefs
8. Bears
9. Packers
10. Redskins

After that there are a few teams that have good uniforms that I would change just slightly.

The Chargers did a great job with their last redesign, the only change I would make is that their powder blue needs to be their base home uniform, not an alternate

This uniform would be third on my list if they wore it full time. I would change the away uniforms to better reflect the powder blue color scheme as well.

The Bills did a great job of bringing back a more classic look. One small tweak and their uniform would be near the top of my list. Their helmet stripe gets wider from front to back. While I get that its supposed to look like the line that goes through the buffalo on the logo I just dont like the way it looks. just make it a straight line and your uniform will be perfect.

The Vikings new uniforms are very nice and one iof the best redesigns that Nike has done so far. Its a nice mix of modern and classic

The Ravens, the Panthers and the Texans are 3 of the newer franchises in the sport. And for newer franchises I dont think any of them made huge mistakes with their uniforms. I dont love any of them but i dont hate them either.

The dolphins are another team that did a recent change. There is something "off" about them but they arent terrible. I cant pinpoint the changes I would make

Maybe some sleeve stripes?

I love their throwbacks

The Ravens had a bad logo originally back in the 90's but they corrected it. There is still something missing but the only real problem I have with their uniform is their collar, which is a nike thing where they made the color two different colors. The ravens need an all black collar IMO

I love the panthers color scheme and their logo is solid. The only major issues I see are with the helmet and pant stripe.

I am not sure how I would fix it, probably just make both the same as the shoulder stripe on the white jersey.

The Texans uniform is fine, no major complains...they are sorta boring.

I love the Jets uniform design but I hate the shade of green they use and since Nike took over their jerseys have been 2 different colors

The easy fix would be to make this jersey

A few teams just look better with their throw backs IMO.

I have always thought the Saints gold was too muted. I really like their throwback uniforms in terms of both design and color

I would color the helmet to better match the numbers on the jersey and roll with this look

The Rams had one of, if not the best uniform in football. their current uniform is a disaster of epic proportions when compared to where they started.

Bring back this throw back...full time (get the color thing straightened out though)

The Patriots throwback is one of the great ones.

But they have had a ton of success in their hideous navy uniforms while having none in these uniforms so I understand the resistance to go back.

I found this really nice looking concept that combines the best of the old and the best of the new

The Browns totally ruined themselves with their uniform change. I mean Browns written on the jersey is bad enough, looks like a college team, but browns on the pants? WTF was Nike thinking. Go back to the old uniforms

The Falcons have hideous uniforms, but their throwbacks are perfect

The Broncos have had bad uniforms since the late 90's. I am glad they went back to the orange jerseys (even though I have the color orange). They were the orange crush, its who they are.

I found this concept uniform and really liked it

I would redesign the logo to include the D again as well. I like these concepts

The Lions uniform isnt awful but I also like their throw backs. This simple concept seems to be a good mix of the two and I really like it (the uniform on the left)

The Bengals uniform is not terrible. the color contrast, the helmets and the tiger striped sleeves are great.

To me the fix is simple. Get rid of the white on the side of the jersey, get rid of the 90's 3-D numbers look and bring the pant stripe straight down
