I find it depressing many Americans version of "owning" someone in a debate is being loud and rude. I never watch Trump in a debate and come away thinking of him as knowledgeable or thoughtful. But politics are like WWE now.

I am yet to understand why people want to be governed by socialism. It has not ever worked and leaves a rich power group and the rest in total poverty looking for food and shelter with no economy. If you can't get by the terrible hate and see what the country will become, look to California, New York and Washington. Your city becomes a war zone with destroyed buildings with graffiti all over and tent cities with trash and filth all over. That's a great looking future. If Bernie Sanders was the nominee,that "socialism" tag could stick. But Biden is not an unknown commodity. His record has been moderate throughout his career. The Trumpists have been trying to pin that "socialist" label on him since March. But, it has not made any dent, per the polls. Failing that, they have tried to say that he will be captive of the left-wing of the Democratic party. Yet that wing won only 10% of the House Democratic seats in 2018 and got clobbered in the Democratic primaries this year. Is Trump a radical right-wing racist or a captive of the radical right-wing racists? I'm not saying he is. I am saying 2 can play that game. Is Trump going to be around beyond 2021? Look at him. He looks like a heart attack waiting to happen with all that weight on him.

For the most part, the protests have been peaceful. And that includes in Washington when peaceful demonstrators , including clergy, were teargassed. And it has been reported, as recently as today, that some who have done the violence have been connected to white supremacist groups. Are they trying to start a civil war? Were those in Charlottsville who marched saying "Jews will not replace us". really "fine people" as Trump claimed? Are they and the white supremacists representative of the Republican party? Is Trump strong enough to rebut the right-wing radical racists in a 2nd term? Does HE want to? You confuse uniting the entire Democratic party with cozying up to Sanders, who after the criticism he got for giving lukewarm support to Clinton (whom he didn't like) in 2016, is trying to be supportive to the nominee in 2020, one he does like and has been friends with.
Of course that is a figment of ignorant people's diseased imagination, and for others it is just another deploracrat lie.
Bernie, himself, said Biden will be the most Progressive President ever. You know that Joe has mental issues and the left squad will be running the show. Trump will probably outlive us.
