Yeah, this is like making the bet on Wednesday that the next day will be Thursday. Right now Harris entered fall camp shut down due to the medical issue. He's stated that he's hoping to be good to go by the start of the season, but we don't know how much practice time he'll get prior to that, and if it's not much then he'll be brought around slowly. Hopefully he gets enough practice time.
Behind Lloyd right now, we also have White who is supposed to have some potential himself. Also have RS-Fr. Rashad Amos who appeared in 3 games last season, rushing 18 times for 99 yards (5.5 ypc) which of course was against all SEC opponents. He had 12 rushes for 60 yds against Kentucky.
That should be good enough depth for Eastern Illinois, and even against East Carolina - who were 98th nationally against the run last season - to start the first two weeks of the season. I expect to see some run plays for Doty as well throughout the season. Hopefully by UGA Harris is ready to go 100%...
