Ok, now I'm taking this storm very seriously

WalMart closed yesterday in Summerville. That's when you know it's time to worry.
Walmart's have a new policy and several other franchises adopted the policy.

My understanding is a manager told an employee that they had to come to work during a bad winter storm. Unfortunately the young lady who was trying to stay employed hit a patch od ice and fatally crashed her car. Her family sued Walmart and was awarded $190mil. That is just a big wknd for Walmart/Sam's worldwide. That said they created a much more aggressive weather related closures but that has also created some severe issues in the regions where 50-90% of the population runs to Walmart for their rations and staples. But then add in CVS and Walgreens following suit and then people needing to fill their med scripts prior to travel or extended period of no access and you have total chaos at those stores like Publix that have remained open.

Good to know for those in the hurricane regions but Publix has invested into whole store generators so they will be the last to close and the first to open!

That said, yall stay safe!
