D.J. was a different animal. Easily one of my favorite players of all time. He had those clemson boys punked and scared before the game started.

I never realized how nonchalant the hit was. Usually when two players collide, they both absorb some impact. Ellington blew up and Swag just shrugged him off. If I remember correctly, he got a PI later and a pick 6 on the next play with a 15 yard celebration penalty. His attitude sealed it though. Never did two major penalties help the team they penalized more than DJ's, since his ruthless attitude would turn the game.He BROUGHT a MEAN Attitude. Liberals today would Hate him!!
He got 15 yards for flexing after this hit. And it was so worth it!I never realized how nonchalant the hit was. Usually when two players collide, they both absorb some impact. Don't discount the mental advantage. We were in their heads during that run. Much the same way CRT was in JackLegg's head.Always grateful for DJ but it was talent that won that night, not attitude. Our DLine manhandled them all night and the O struck at opportune times. Better team won.
So, who do we have this season who can bring it like he did?

Yeah. That's the one.
Hope our Football ops guys are smart enough to arm some of our guys pregame with some GoPro to catch some of that racist tater talk this year.
Absolutely had he been at Georgia or Clemson, he would have been public enemy number 1. But for us he is THAT DUDE!!!!!He was that guy that every other team absolutely HATED. But he was our guy, and we absolutely LOVED him!
I bought the art work and gave it to my dad!He BROUGHT a MEAN Attitude. Liberals today would Hate him!!

The time he threw ball in the stands in one of my favorite moments in Gamecock history.I never realized how nonchalant the hit was. Usually when two players collide, they both absorb some impact.
