With today's fiasco, we are now 11-15 in SEC play. In other words, we're staring down the barrel of our first SEC losing season in 18 years. With the commitment we give to college baseball, it is completely unacceptable to be below .500 in SEC play (even with how tough the conference is). Never dreamed we'd be this bad just 3 years removed from dynasty-like status. Unacceptable.

I'll bite. What commitment do YOU give the USC baseball.

By "we", I'm referring to our University, athletic department, and fan base (as a whole). We take college baseball much more seriously than most of our counterparts, in the SEC or elsewhere. Just look at our facilities. I'm not someone who thinks we should be in Omaha every year, or even the Super Regionals. That's completely unrealistic. I just feel that with the resources we have, we should be at .500 or better in conference play every year (and in NCAA Tourney). In other words, we shouldn't be on the proverbial "bubble" when it comes to baseball. Just my opinion.

Funny thing is, there are probably people on this board that would tell you that Holbrook is a better coach than Tanner. He just needs more time to get his players and assistants in there! Lol
