If Dabo really wanted to be selfish and screw over the Bryant kid, he would’ve played him for a few series against Syracuse and then benched him. Similar to what Kirby has done with Justin fields.
At the end of the day Dablow actually did the right thing the way I see it. He has the former number one overall recruit sitting the bench, and knows that if he wants his team to not get boat raced by the Tide that he needs a passing threat. Benched Bryant after there was plenty of game film to justify his decision. The Lawrence kid looked good against GT, albeit GT blows, he looked better than Bryant.
