OT: AC Flora vs Lower Richland

They play for the 3A Upper State basketball championship on Monday night. And since the Upper State venue is the Bon Secours arena in Greenville they will both leave Columbia to play up there. Its no ones fault. But im sure a lot of fans would have found it more convenient on a Monday night to have had them play nearer Columbia.

To each his own i guess. To the kids who busted their tales its a big deal. And to the fans who live vicariously through them its also a big deal. There are a lot of huge goals and dreams in this world that dont involve D1 prospects. But youre certainly entitled to your opinion. I wish both teams a safe trip to and from. The winner plays my own alma mater Midland Valley next Saturday in the Colonial Life Arena. Im sure that will be a highlight of any SC high school basketball players life.
