Someone posted on a Gamecock site a picture of Brad Edwards tonight at the DC Gamecock meeting. Did he not marry a Clemson cheerleader right after his USC days. I googled a picture of him and his wife...and she looked a good bit younger. I am thinking the Clemson marriage didn't last. Just curious if my memory is correct.

Thanks! I had forgotten about Bill Bradshaw...for some reason I was thinking it was Brad. I just remember a lot was made over them being from opposing schools, etc.

only connection with Sherry Thrift and Dawn Smith is they were both Miss South Carolina winners.

Sherry won it in 1985 and was 1st runner up in the Miss America pageant.

Dawn won it in 1986 and was 2nd runner up in the Miss America pageant.
