OT: Carolina Baseball Wins!

I realize there are a bunch of folks that already know this but aren't going to post about baseball unless we lose. Just thought it should at least be acknowledged that a game did happen. You know, since midweek games are such a big deal and all.

I watched, we won as expected. wasnt anything special to brag about and a lot of fans are justifiably listless about our team right now because thats honestly how they've played. im waiting till we win a series or two before I get too excited....just like I waited a series or two to really get down on this team.

Ok so we beat App State and The Citadel. Talk to me when we win an SEC series again. Heck, nothing special about today's win. Still struggling with the bats, still having to hold on for dear life at the end. This team has a lot to prove and I mean a lot. Unless things change in a big way, we will be home come tournament time.

Saw runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs and no one could get the ball out of the infield. Bases loaded, strike out. I have come to terms that the team is offensively challenged and other times pitching and defensively challenged. Gonna be a long road this year.
