I didn't read the review, but did they test each one by smashing it against an attacker's forehead and measuring the trauma and continued reliability of the flashlight? If not, then I'm not sure they fully tested the "tactical" features of the flashlights.
I've used Surefire lights with no complaints, but in my experience, sooner or later, I'm going to lose nearly every flashlight I buy, so that's one item for which I usually subscribe to "quantity over quality" approach in buying.
