What wrong with the folks in the North? Other folks in states like North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and other mid-west states deal far worst all the time...
I understand they are trying to save lives and want people to stay home. But banning people from driving? They even banned bicycles in NYC? That is gov't going WAY overboard. And a $300 fine...that's borderline communism.
And it's really pathetic that the media is blowing this out of proportion. I guess there is no other news, huh? Just goes to show you these news shows are all fluff and no substance. It's funny I just a reporter that said he was on Long Island where they had 17" of snow, yet I could see the top of his boots!
On the up side, now us southerners can tell northerners to shut their mouth when they start talking about people in the south overreacting when it snows here!

My kids were pissed at Ben Tanner... He forecast snow about a foot or two and all we got was rain... I think it was 5 or 6 years ago....
