Hey everyone. I’m trying to put together a playlist of upbeat rock that’s fun to listen to while driving. All suggestions are appreciated.

I currently have these below:

Eagles - Life in the fast lane

Wolfmother - Joker and the thief, Woman, White Unicorn

Greta Van Fleet - Safari Song and Highway Tune.

Aerosmith - Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion

Styx- Renegade

Rush - Tom Sawyer

The Allman Brothers - Midnight Rider

Tom Petty - Runnin’ Down The Dream

All good choices. I will warn you that with upbeat rock songs comes the temptation to break the speed limit. Put it on cruise control or be prepared for a costly souvenir

I Can’t Drive 55
Flirting With Disaster
Life is a Highway
Already Gone
Gimme 3 Steps
Free Fallin
Ramblin Man
Midnight Rider

Tried to pick some within your genre with many of the artists you already mentioned

Thunderstruck - ACDC
Life Is a Highway - Tom Cochrane/Rascal Flats
Mercury 49 - Jimmy Thackery and The Drivers
Cadillac Ranch - Bruce Sprinsteen
Hot Rod Lincoln - Commander Cody
Radar Love - Golden Earring
Hit The Road Jack - Ray Charles

All good ones, but why not just flip on any classic rock station!
2 reasons.
1) Nothing like making your own playlist/mixtape so you have exactly what you want to listen to at any time.
2) Many of these classic rock stations have a condensed playlist and you hardly get much more than the 5-7 top songs of most bands.

You have Runnin' Down A Dream, so your list is complete, but if you were to add Jet Airliner by Steve Miller Band, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Man, get with it. You don't need lyrics. You need some upbeat contemporary jazz. No foul language, no idiotic storylines, no....well....lyrical stupidity. Here you go:

Galaxies....Peet Project
Lifecycle....Nathan East
Take Me....Steve Cole
Shadow and Light...Craig Chaquico
Never say Never....LeBron
3 Day Weekend...Jeff Kashiwa
We made a New World....Rippingtons
Pacific Coast Highway...Nils
Open Road....Rippingtons
Follow the Stars....Rippingtons
Pipos Song....Spyrogyra
SlamPop....Accoustic Alchemy
Never Too Much.....Paul Jackson Jr.

You will come out of it not insulted by all the whining, crying and screaming and yelling that passes as entertainment these days. Your intelligence will be intact. And you will feel good!

Throw in some Brian Simpson, Euge Groove, Boney James, Cindy Bradley and Oli Silk then sit back and take in the scenery.

ACDC
Its a Long Way To The Top (If You Want to Rock n' Roll) - The bagpipe makes the song.
Shoot To Thrill

The Cult
She Sells Sanctuary - I was in a helicopter crash in Honduras listening to this song in 1987. Headphones and cassette on a Walkman. Still one of my favorite driving songs. I've gotten a couple of speeding tickets listening to it. My wife tells me to tone it down and pump the breaks. It takes me back to falling out of the sky whilst hunting soviets along the triangle border area. Effing-A, Bubba. Time of my life.
Fire Woman

Billy Idol
Rebel Yell
Eyes Without A Face
White Wedding
Flesh for Fantasy
