OT: Need good directions to Lynchburg, Va

Enemy posting here - but...
My Sis-in-law attended Sweetbriar College up in Lynchburg. Several visits and we took the same route every time. I-85 to Greensboro NC. Catch 29-N from there.
Most direct route - a good amount of red lights on 29 through a bunch of the 'villes on the way, but not murderous.

That's it. 77N to 85N. At Greensboro, take 29N. You'll go through Danville, and then Lynchburg is about an hour from there. I checked Google & the directions are accurate. Just don't choose the alternate routes!
It's a pain in the ass. I usually drive when I go up there on business. Will probably just fly next time.
