Yeah, I've already found a route that takes me around that sh!t next weekend. Heading to Atlanta and picking up a friend in Spartanburg along the way. Until those chutes come down, I'm avoiding that stretch like the plague.
Went that way this past weekend. Took Hwy 29 from Sparta to Gastonia to avoid I-85. Not a bad ride and the traffic was light.
