So we need Florida to beat auburn (12-15).vandy to smoke bama(11-16)Missouri or Kentucky to beat each other and an A&M sweep over ole miss (14-13).. These are teams that we are close to. Of course we need to go 3-1 at least this week. If these things happen we will be looking ok​

Yes I get that we must take care of our own business, but if these other schools play their way out it can give us a little extra help. Unless the selection team decides on only 6 sec teams instead of say 8 or 9 making it. Usually at least 9 make it because of the strength of our league.

You're missing my point. No help at all is needed from others if we don't win this week/weekend AND go far in Hoover. If we to 0-2 in Hoover, we are NOT getting a postseason bid, regardless of what other SEC teams do on the final weekend of the season. We have not performed as needed, as we all are well aware, to be worthy of a bid.

Good discussion. I would love for our name alone to get us in. I just don't think it's enough this year, given our body of work so far, regardless of any "help" we may get. I think we are going to have to prove to the committee, on the field, the we are still deserving.

Just for fun if season ended today we would play either mizzou or ole miss in sec tournament single elimination round. We are 10 one of them would be 7 seed.

We cannot go 0-2 in Hoover. We play Tuesday, if we lose we are done. So we can go 0-1 and come home or win and then it becomes a double elimination tournament.
