I agree completely. They both played championship golf under pressure. The putting by both golfers was absolutely clutch, Rahm in particular. Those were both back to back low percentage monsters. Louie just made the one errant drive on 17 he couldn't quite overcome. Everybody else fell apart down the stretch.Rhetorical question. Of course he is great. He also has 15 majors to Louie's one major.
You can't hit it out bounds on the same hole your opponent just birdied to take a one-shot lead. That's just poor course management.
But to be sure, Louie didn't lose this championship so much as Jon Rahm took it from him.
It came down to one little stroke for a major championship.
