Gamecock Alum & Tour Rookie Matt NeSmith continued his strong play with an 11th Place tie at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

NeSmith finished at -7 after shooting an even par 72 in very difficult conditions (25 MPH winds and greens that became extremely firm).

Matt NeSmith's Prize Winnings for this week's work: $181,350. That is a pretty good week at the office!!!

This was NeSmith's 4th Top 20 finish this year. This was NeSmith's best finish in a PGA Tour event and it came on a great course under difficult playing conditions. Remember, this is Matt NeSmith's rookie year on the PGA Tour.

The FEDEX Cup standings have not yet been updated to include this week's results. NeSmith was ranked # 74 coming into this week. His earnings for this year were $385,797. (If my math is correct, NeSmith's earnings are now up to $567,147 for this year.)
