At the local Augusta gym yesterday, Phil brought his pilot, personal trainer, personal trainer asst., and golf coach.

How nice to have money!

I guess you haven't 'made it' until you go everywhere with an entourage. However, Phil's party lacked the required (usually a minimum of three) security guards required to hit the REALLY big time in the world of Lifestyles of the Mega-Celebrities.

Guess Phil goes to the gym to watch others workout while he eats his box of twinkies.

Why the Mickelson hate? Hall of Famer who took no crap from Tiger. Great and very charitable guy. It has been well documented that he has hit the gym harder since the back injury.

My all time favorite golfer, along with Jack. Hope Phil has a few more wins and majors left in him, right now I have my doubts. He just needs to win one more tournament........the U.S. Open......Go Lefty!

Some may want to find who the real Phil is......he is not the person with the "smile" for fans. But on topic, if he is hitting the gym his C cups are still jiggly.

I stood within 20 feet of Phil yesterday at Augusta.

He appeared to be in good shape (appears he's lost about 10+ pounds) and was, as usual, one of the most friendly golfers with the crowd that I observed all day.

While most of the golfers yesterday were avoiding eye contact with fans, Phil was clearly making eye contact, smiling, and nodding at the folks gathered around the green- and then did the same as he walked to the next tee.

What I always find funny about fans making comments about other people and their weight is that of all the golfers I saw yesterday (even the heavier ones) - they were all obviously in better shape than 90+% of the crowd I saw at the course. (What is it about men over about 45 years old that leads them to believe sitting on their butts all the time, being critical of everything and everyone else, and looking like they have a pregnant belly is a good look?)

and men that smoke- you may not care - (or don't notice) - but just so you know the truth- 90% of the people you encounter while you are puffing your cancer stick are trying like heck to avoid your stinking smell. I saw countless men (many overweight, but even if they weren't they didn't look that healthy) smoking yesterday at the course- and my son and I got a big kick out of watching the other people near them trying to avoid their drifting smoke (many of them trying to avoid it at all costs were attractive women).

I saw him yesterday.

He looked in good shape and was obvious he's trimmed up a little. He's 6'3" and weighs about 200-210. That's not big at all in any way. He simply looks big compared to most out there.

Something some folks that just watch golf on TV don't understand- some of the guys out there that you'd compare someone normal like Phil to are very thin men.

Guys like Zach Johnson 5'11" only weighs 160lbs, or even Bubba Watson (6'3" 180) - in person- are very thin (almost skinny) guys.
