19 pitchers on the staff. It seems JM mentality is to use only a few. Preston
Johnson had a few good innings I remember - then never heard of again.
Tyler Johnson, Freshman, never given much of a chance. Several others seem to
be mop up duty.
Vogel, I swear he can be nasty = needs coached up for demand of pitches. He will get
drafted.
Hopefully a coach is on the way. I have never called for a coaches head on a
internet board, but I feel as fan to call this out now.
Hope next year starts with some fresh faces and a go get'em attitude.

Jerry Myer is a good pitching coach, but it was Mark Calvi who really help develop the pitchers and try something new.. i.e. Starting Roth in CWS against Clemson...

It's time for Jerry to retire, he tends to over use pitchers and not try someone else new, unless is made to do so...

Not to mention that every returning pitcher this season has regressed from last season. Crowe, Wyncoop, Fiori, Mincey, Widener, Reagan, none of them are pitching as well as they did last season. Wyncoop is the only pitcher anywhere close to last seasons ERA.

I agree, particularly on Preston Johnson. The guy was a strikeout machine in his couple of appearances in relief, then we have seen hide nor hair of him since.

I agree with you, JBO!
Holbrook is not a Manager IMO. He may be a good coach, just not the MAN. He is not proactive, he is reactive and slow on the uptake there. So is JM. Yesterday I predicted and watched
the inevitable loss come true as Holbrook and JM both just watched it happen the same as I did.
Slow to yank, and averse to trying anyone new. Walk after walk after HR after HR.
Widener should never have taken the mound. The catcher in the bullpen could have told you he was NOT ready!

Vogel flinches after a pitch and no coach goes out and checks on him, so the plate ump calls time and gets our coaches to do it.
