Petersen talks way too much & harold was the best they ever had up there...... he let the action describe itself. & btw she wasn't n the booth.
I thought she was pretty good to be honest. I don't care if it's male/female, as long as they know their stuff. She knows a lot about mechanics etc, so I think it's OK. If you only allowed people who "played the game" in the booth, then most of the play by play guys wouldn't be there! There are some female announcers who are pretty terrible and add nothing to the broadcast, but there are plenty of former male athletes who stink it up in the booth too. If you listen to what she says as opposed to worrying about her face etc, you might actually enjoy.
I mean, males broadcast plenty of female sports and nobody's screaming for them to get out of the booth.
Mendoza knows her game, I'll give her that but I gotta agree, get her outta the booth. Go commentate College Softball.
LOL she was giving batting instructions LMAO ESPN ruin a once great thing when they fired the best crew they ever had.
I thought Mendoza was just fine, and I do like Petersen's analysis. Agreed it was a mistake to let Reynolds go.

The voice of Peterson calling baseball is college baseball in itself to me. I didn't pay attention to the chick. What I get lost in is talk of draft status and MLB. I could care less, talk about the game.
...or the football play by play...I can not listen to it. It just sounds strange....
