With Joe Cox's shift to wide receivers (and Bobby Bentley's to tight ends), those guys have already been talking to recruiting targets at those positions to let them know what's going on.
Cox spoke with Myrtle Beach (S.C.) class of 2021 WR J.J. Jones on the phone yesterday afternoon and Jones gave me a quick reaction to that conversation.
"He's a very energetic guy that wants to truly develop his players."
Jones also told me that Bryan McClendon leaving doesn't really have much of an effect on his recruitment.
