If you'll remember from the June 10th weekend, most of the fireworks tend to happen on Sunday, so definitely stay tuned this afternoon as the players finish up their exit interviews, because that is generally when the #welcomehomes start flying.
I've spoken a bit with a couple of committed prospects that are on campus, and they seem to be having a great time getting the OV experience, but also really pushing for other guys in the class. Trovon Baugh sent me an update of him hanging out with Markee Anderson and DJ Geth and Coach Greg Adkins, and they all seemed to be having a blast. We've spoken at length about how Baugh wants to put together a "Core Four" of himself, Anderson, Geth, and Tosin "Big Tree" Babalade. It would seem that Baugh is doing everything in his power to make that happen.
I also spoke with a couple of 2024 guys about the cookout yesterday, and reviews are glowing. I can confirm that QB Dante Reno, WR Mazeo Bennett, OL Blake Franks, class of '23 DL Zavion Hardy, '23 OL Jatavius Shivers who recently committed to Vandy all visited.
A couple of other player pairings I've gotten besides the few I've shared (Zahbari Sandy with Darius Rush, and Trovon Baugh with Jakai Moore):
