Yep. She had them go over to my friend during the game. Brad caught hell after that. As if it wasn't bad enough that LB's hit to win the game in the 12th bounced off the wall above him.

I used to heckle my own players all the time.

When I had a player defending our goal, she kicked the ball in our goal.

As she was walking back to the sideline with her head hung down, I looked at her and said "nice goal, maybe you can try that move on the other goal?"

She looked at me with a smile on her face and said "Thanks coach! That was a nice kick."

Sometimes, heckling your own players help build that self esteem...

Scoring on your own goal isn't the end of the world...
