It’s interesting that the Rattler commitment has generated far more buzz than Ewers. I suppose it’s partially bc everyone knew only 2-3 schools were in contention for Ewers. And most probably didn’t consider us a serious contender for Rattler. But, even so, there’s been a lot more focus on where rattler would end up.
Ewers was a huge recruit but is still unproven at the college level since he got no playing time last year. Rattler entered the year as the Heisman frontrunner and many think that it was coaching and not performance that dictated how his season went last year. Hopefully we can stay in the headlines and pull a couple of big recruits to block for him and for him to throw the ball to.
Its obviously not a big deal though according to some of our more astute fans.
