I know it's just a typo, but "protections" works. We need to "protect" our dignity by finishing out the season strong.

I noticed only three teams from SC in the mid-season projections, none from the upstate.

They may have put a lot of thought and analysis into this...but this weekend will tell the tale of Gamecock baseball 2015. Being the halfway point a lot of teams have faced the meat of their schedule, but we're just hitting ours.

And it's obvious that CCH is concerned...as we all are...since he's decided to take over coaching 3rd base.

The time for try-outs, working arms and shuffling the batting order are over. It's time to put up!

This team has a lot of talent, they just need to have a couple of leaders emerge, hit their stride, gain some confidence and play to their potential. We have the arms, we have a fairly stable defense in place, we just need a few players to be consistent at the plate. Max has nearly back to form, Arendas is hitting better and so is Bright. If that keeps up we could make a good run. Or it could all go the way it has all season.

But it starts tomorrow. If they're going to make some noise and get hot it has to start tomorrow!

im shocked because our rpi is in the mid to high 50's, we've barely played .500 baseball in SEC play against the lower half of the league, have zero marquee series wins, a handful of bad losses, and three straight series losses.

i was expecting a 3 seed in one of the ACC national seed brackets with a tough 2 seed. instead we got slotted as a 2 seed with a bunch of what im going to call 'mid-majors'. so yeah, thats shocking.
