just a reminder...Feb 27 in less than a month away.

S.C. (AP) - South Carolina and Clemzon are scheduled to play their traditional baseball series starting the last weekend of February.

The teams will meet at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Friday, Feb. 27, before moving to Fluor Field in Greenville the next day. The three-game set concludes on Sunday, March 1, at Carolina Stadium.

South Carolina has won 13 of the previous 16 meetings, including a series sweep a year ago.

- The two teams have faced off 303 times dating to 1899.
- The two have met at least one time every year since 1945, with the exception of 1984.
- South Carolina leads the series 6-2 at Carolina Stadium (opened in 2009).
- South Carolina leads the series 2-1 at Fluor Field (opened in 2006). The first game there between the two was in 2010.
- South Carolina has 27 wins at Doug Kingsmore stadium.

Yep, it has not been pretty for my tiggers....what is the overall record?

Tell you what, we'll concede the overall record, if the taters will concede that USC has more CWS rings. Oh, don't forget we got one of those NC at the expense of the taters. Just remember, that year, all the taters had to do was beat us once to advance to the champ game. We gave them 2 tries and they still couldn't get it done.

It is very simple to explain...

TATERS GONNA TATE.

Old Jackleg is about as bad as Dilbo. Both are nothing more than cheerleaders and sorry excuses for coaches. When they tried to accuse our guys of cheating by warming the bats a few years back, I knew we were so far in their heads in wasn't even funny,,,

neither a 99-41 nor 68-45 beatdown registered with them but when "Jacklegg loses another and ~ Pfffft they'll be gone"

tractors top off around 20 mph so some of them just got home from attending their Russell Athletic (former CARQUEST Bowl) National Championship. some have been consumed with making travel plans for the college football playoff next season because they beat Ohio 2 January's ago as well.

they've just been busy folks. with one telephone pole & switchboard operator the inny-net in Climpkens has a long line outside the Asso Club. gotta wait your turn.

I'm still running into clemmy fans that smell like mothballs.

Smells like mothballs. Some people have a way with words. :)

Happy you asked. The overall record is:

One #3 finish.
Four #2 finishes.
Two National Championships.

Hmm, I should have looked it up. I really did not know the overall record in baseball. My entire life and I am 57, I have generally thought you guys had a better program. I have tried to get into baseball, but have only really followed it the last 15-20 years, and it "hasn't been pretty for Clemson". I would think the same thing that most of you think if the tables were reversed, but quite honestly ..it wasn't a loaded question.

As for why I "just showed up on gamecock central" , don't think I ever left. You guys seem a might sensitive.

I am glad to know we lead the series :--)

we didn't win the NC that year, Texas beat us in the title game.

Honestly. You are a good poster, and that is why you are still here. You, SHill, tigerob, etc.... all do a good job of keeping it classy.

Good to have you few around to offer an opposing view, even if it is dead wrong.
