SEATING: Gamecocks vs. Tarholes in Charlotte Sept 3rd

Looks like my post on FGFof several weeks ago was spot on.

Per todays Gamecock Club email: Appears we Gamecocks are getting some 15,000 seats with 70-80% of these seats being in the endzone and lower and upper corner.

Hey Bubba Cunningham...who gets all those other seats???????????

Welcome to the ACC - I'm almost willing to bet that UNC had some inside influence on the seating.

I remember in the 60s-70s playing all the ACC conference tourneys in North Carolina, either Charlotte or Greensboro - it seemed-like.

Yeah, Upstate. Lot of bad memories still for this old-timer. I just hope

that the win at Dook and hopefully a win tomorrow will begin the exorcism of those memories.

Maybe one day the CLAw will be the go-to venue in the Carolinas instead of Greensboro. Wishing....
