This happened last week but DeMarcus Lawrence signed a five year $105 mill ($65 mill guaranteed) contract with the Cowboys. Lawrence played at Silver Bluff high in Aiken county where I live. My next door neighbor coached him in high school. DeMarcus was highly touted out of high school but didn't have the grades. After Juco he played at Boise State. He is the cousin of former Gamecock linebacker Marcus Lawrence (played for Lou), who is a police officer for the city of Aiken.
