I had a post on here earlier today Freddie and the mods locked it because of few dumb comments some posters made. Smith and Frank McGuire were great close friends .
I didn't really like him, but had tremendous respect for him. Like the 4 corners.....may the 4 winds blow you safely home!
Wish that USC and UnCarolina could have kept playing on the court regularly after USC left the ACC. When all members sans Clemron dropped us, Frank had to call on his friends around the country to make up a schedule. Either Dean was too great a friend, not great enough a friend to make it happen, or the Tarhole admin wouldn't let him schedule us. I hope Frank wasn't foolish enough to at least try if he could.
