That was goal tending, no doubt as the majority will say today and tonite... the ball doesn't have to be going in to be goal tending.

I am slowly changing my mind.. the key is there has to be a chance it was going in and there lies the rub... it was not going in.

I don't think they got screwed as you said.. it was a difficult call ... I now lean to no goaltending after review... refs just doesn't

get to review in real time

First of all UCLA upsets SMU????

It looked on frame 1:12 that the ball was coming down outside the rim.. They should have look at replay... This doesn't look like goaltending, more like an air ball hitting the fingers to make it look as if it was going in...

That's why you play better and take it out of the refs hands. If a game can be decided by a call, neither team is the clear winner, and it's their own faults a call determined the outcome.

Per ESPN, those type calls are judgement calls and are not reviewable. Dickie V. said he didn't think it was goaltending.

Didn't say it would give them the win. I still think it's an important point, just not sensational enough for all the knee jerk announcers and commentators.
