No way that Rattler hits the NFL. Our Defense and ST kept us in the entire game. Second half adjustments from ND shut I’d down, along with Rattlers inaccuracy.

Juice was basically non-existent and Nate getting hurt basically killed our offense.

Gi en his season long stats, he shouldn't even consider the NFL. But someone will always be there to raise his grade based on arm strength or potential.

Simply put, he needs to return for another year and make a better, more consistent statement. I may sound like a self-serving fan, but imho Rattler needs to extend his housing lease in Columbia for another year.

I hope he does. If the new OC can polish him up he can have a big 2023.

That's the problem, he could have a big year in 2023... But it's a big risk given our lack of OL protection last night and a first time college OC.

Rattler has to actually have faith they can set him up for a big year.

I feel like he is going to return but not for the reasons listed above. He is already making $2 million here. I could see that NIL deal boosted up to $3 million or more. He also has an outside shot at a Heisman run if we could surround him with enough play makers. Juice returning would be a huge start to that.

There’s no guarantee he makes that in the NFL on his initial contract. Why not stay put and have the opportunity to increase draft stock and still make a killing at USC.

The signing bonus is what gets you big first round draft money. Even 32nd overall is only 2M per year.

I don't think there is any doubt he could make more money here next year than in the NFL.

The question is if that extra money is worth all the risk that he might regress next season with a worse OL. In the second half versus ND our OL couldn't give him time and we didn't have any WRs who could get open.

Our WR next year will be how do you say; RAW!

Well spending a year under a former NFL OC cant hurt. Rattler hasnt had that at OU or USC. Guess that would be the recruiting pitch, to let the new OC really start shaping him into an NFL mold

I mean it could hurt considering Loggains was never a successful NFL OC.

He is doing well with the NIL money and you can bet that the new OC will set up the offense to promote Rattler.
Rattler returning will be key to us moving up next year. Also, we need to take advantage of Clemson's slid with a confident QB.
