So during the Muschamp days, if someone told you that with the next coach SC would be 5-2 with wins over A&M and Kentucky, and that the board would still be predominantly negative, what would you have thought?
I would have said yep…..So during the Muschamp days, if someone told you that with the next coach SC would be 5-2 with wins over A&M and Kentucky, and that the board would still be predominantly negative, what would you have thought?
Always seeking perfection and maybe a better OC 😇.So during the Muschamp days, if someone told you that with the next coach SC would be 5-2 with wins over A&M and Kentucky, and that the board would still be predominantly negative, what would you have thought?
I would have wanted more information. It's always the irritating squeak in the door hinge that predominates people's consciousness. Our offense is in the 50th percentile. People notice because it sticks out.So during the Muschamp days, if someone told you that with the next coach SC would be 5-2 with wins over A&M and Kentucky, and that the board would still be predominantly negative, what would you have thought?

We are 41st in total offence: https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/27I looked it up in another thread, it was in the 80's. Maybe it was based off a different stat?
Either way, all people have to do is point to Muschamps second year for some background on those feelings.

Well said!Look, I'm not attacking you personally nor, am I suggesting you are part of what I speak. However, I have noticed, that whenever something positive happens, at Carolina, whether it be football, basketball or the sun rising on time, one of the first posts/replies will always be some Sunshine Pumper whining about the negativity. Not even clever enough to come back with an "I Told Ya So!", they just echo the same whine over & over again.... And never saying anything, just whining.
Even the blind can see that all Coach has to do, is exactly what he's done the past 4 games and all the negativity will quickly go away or, at least, eventually get replaced with the whining about "Nobody respects us, we deserve to be ranked #1!".
So! Thanks but, No Thanks, we don't need any help stirring the pot.
EDIT:
Just before leading his UCLA team onto the court for the first time, Gene Bartow was asked "Coach, how do you think you're going to do here at UCLA" He smiled and responded: "I'll do just fine, ... if I win them all." He then lost his smile and added ... " for the next 20 years."
If, if, if — if the Germans hadn’t attacked Pearl Harbor, the Japanese surely would have.So during the Muschamp days, if someone told you that with the next coach SC would be 5-2 with wins over A&M and Kentucky, and that the board would still be predominantly negative, what would you have thought?
You're being too lenient on Satterfield. His resume' doesn't justify it.don't care what others think about it. Shane is doing a good job trying to build a program and that is a big job after Will Muschamp and the end of Spurrier's tenure.
it's some forward and backward steps.
this offense is limited because of the lack of a few high ceiling wide receivers. that has influenced the types of calls that can be implemented.
Perfect example.I looked it up in another thread, it was in the 80's. Maybe it was based off a different stat?

I don't think that many people would've been impressed that we beat Kentucky. They've only recently become consistently good.So during the Muschamp days, if someone told you that with the next coach SC would be 5-2 with wins over A&M and Kentucky, and that the board would still be predominantly negative, what would you have thought?
Muschamp lost 4 out of 5 to Kentucky. So 2016 through 2020 they had SC's number.I don't think that many people would've been impressed that we beat Kentucky. They've only recently become consistently good.
