POSTGAME UPDATES
* Florida DB Dominick Hill will be staying overnight in Columbia, so we'll try to catch up with him tomorrow.
* WR Xavier McGriff out of Florida indeed made it in - nothing really that new to report here, according to McGriff. He's visited numerous times in various visit formats.
* Here's our story on Alabama TE Eric Shaw - https://southcarolina.rivals.com/news/south-carolina-stands-out-for-talented-tight-end
Get the sense USC likes Shaw a good bit. He was certainly impressed after his initial look at the program.
* Sumter DB O’Donnell Fortune made it in but had to leave early, so he was unable to get a chance to speak with the coaching staff this time.
* Reminder that we anticipate 5 star RB Marshawn Lloyd staying another night and departing on Sunday. He was at the game on Saturday, of course.
* In state WR Jalen Coit out of Cheraw said he had a really good conversation with Bryan McClendon during his time on campus.
He said USC is going to be by his school in the spring and talk to coaches and others around the school about him, then go from there.
* WR Michael Wyman had another good trip and said the game today was great. He spent some time hanging out with QB commitment Luke Doty.
Again, we like USC’s position here.
* The pair of 2021 guys from Virginia, DL Katron Evans and DB Tony Grimes, were not able to make it. There was a last minute emergency that came up for the person bringing them. Both were on campus earlier this year.
* 2021 DB Deandre Boykins, who of course is the brother of LB Derek Boykins, made the trip today but he told GamecockCentral.com that he went today to the spring game as a family member as opposed to a visiting prospect.
* Four-star DE Kedrick Bingley-Jones did not make it in.
