Sterling spoke at my high school (Dutch Fork) right after his career ending injury. Our weight room coach was his personal trainer. I respected the fact that he never expressed any bitterness and was grateful for the opportunity to play after having to retire so soon.

I know too Sterling had a reputation for being a little hot headed at times. He wouldn't allow Alshon to wear his #2 jersey. I personally didn't have a problem with that though.
