Sort of excited thinking it was about basketball also. Then I saw it was one of Cheeseburger Charlies boys. The only reason anyone goes to Kansas is because they probably don't have another D1 offer. Why are we even interested in "being in the mix"? Maybe he could contribute on the scout team.

My guess is that kick is backing you up in that there is no need to disrespect the young man. Why would anyone disrespect and turn away someone who has started his last 24 games in D1 football from coming here, when we got torched last year in the secondary and couldn't make a tackle if the runner got beyond our linebackers? I believe our coaches know if he belongs on this team or not. Highly doubt they would be reaching out to him if he couldn't immediately help our team.

thanks, coastguard. my comment was not directed at GWarrior. just dont understand why folks lambaste guys we are recruiting. the young man sounds like he would be a QUALITY addition to our secondary. I hope he decides to become a gamecock.
