Sunday post-visit updates:
Just caught up with four-star DT Rick Sandidge. Predictably, he didn't say much about his recruitment. He'll make his decision prior to signing day, inform the coaching staffs, then announce it on signing day.
Kobe Smith served as his player host during the visit, and he said talks centered around Will Muschamp telling him how much of a priority he was. It sounds like there was not a great deal of football talk here, just more of an opportunity for him to hang out with players.
Sandidge said that he'll have in-homes this coming week with head coaches from Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We do know Will Muschamp gets the last crack.

Four-star WR Warren Thompson has wrapped up his visit - check out his comments here:

Four-star OT Dylan Wonnum has wrapped up his official visit and says everything went well.
He will likely host all three finalists' head coaches on in-home visits this week and hopes to announce a decision this week as well. If he doesn't have a decision this week, then it will be signing day. Sadarius Hutcherson was his visit host. He says the official visit wasn't really any different than his other trips, but he seems comfortable within the program.
South Carolina, Tennessee and Auburn are all tied as finalists. LSU tried to get him to visit next week, but he's not going to - visits are over. Wonnum, of course, doesn't give it away, but I still feel Carolina is in really good shape here. Sunday morning update:
There’s a lot of confidence on the Carolina end that all four visits have gone very well.
I’m beginning to think Carolina has given Warren Thompson plenty to think about. He’s hit it off well with the current players and seems to really like Columbia from what I’ve been told. We’ll keep digging after the trip.
Visits will be wrapping up early this afternoon and we hope to have plenty of feedback after.
Saturday 11 p.m. update:
The visits have gone "as well as they possibly could" from what I was told Saturday evening.
The visitors did take in the first half of basketball game after their stop at the Dodie this morning. They also spent time with the strength staff at the stadium for a presentation, met Marcus Lattimore, and hung out at The Grand tonight - a new bowling alley and restaurant in Columbia - among other things.
It still looks good for Rick Sandidge and Dylan Wonnum.
I spoke with a source about John Mincey, who felt that Tennessee definitely had the edge before this weekend, but the source hadn't spoke with Mincey yet to see if that changed this weekend. It's looking like his decision won't come until signing day. Another Mincey source said he seemed to have fun, but is tough to read and "could go either way" between South Carolina and Tennessee.
Warren Thompson made the trip down with his mother (it's always a better sign for a school when family comes in my experience). That visit is going very well too. Florida State is the biggest obstacle for Carolina, but he's nowhere near a lock there from what I've been told.
Visits will wrap on Sunday and we'll, of course, have some post-visit feedback.
---------------
** Mincey came in early and has already wrapped up his official visit. I’ve heard it went well but trying to gather info on just how well.
** New 2021 offer out to Mount Island Charter (NC) ATH Gabriel Strephens, I’m told. Still gathering some info on him but he’s a 6-2, 180-pounder already and I believe he’s a Carolina legacy. Is in town for an unofficial today.

** As I said Friday night, defensive tackle Rick Sandidge, offensive tackle Dylan Wonnum, wide receiver Warren Thompson and defensive end John Mincey have all arrived in Columbia for their official visits.
** So far, so good for the visits. Everyone got in Friday night and then headed to the stadium for the photoshoot portion of the visit after checking in at the hotel.
Saturday is the meat of the official visit, starting out with a trip to the Dodie Academic Center this morning. I'm assuming the guys will take in some of the men's basketball game this afternoon, but I haven't heard that for sure.
** Class of 2019 defensive end Zacch Pickens is also on campus already as an unofficial visitor (Friday night).
** On a basketball note: I'm hearing South Carolina is in really good shape with Jermaine Couisnard, who is set to announce his decision at some point today (Saturday).
