Supporting athletics

i wonder if many of our graduated scholarship athletes support our athletic dept. it would seem that those who have finished would certainly be grateful and generous in return.

i wonder if many of our graduated scholarship athletes support our athletic dept. it would seem that those who have finished would certainly be grateful and generous in return.

It would be interesting if this were put out there, but I imagine the ratio is low because for every football player that makes it big, there are a lot of athletes striving for a professional career in their sport making peanuts, not to mention people going into entry level jobs out of college.

Baseball is obvious, but think about guys and girls trying to make it in track, tennis, golf, etc....unless you make it big you may simply not have money to give immediately leaving the university.

Tanner will never let that happen. He has his few he loves, but the others are considered left-over trash.
