I forgot they were playing today. That in itself is sad.
Whose idea was it to bring a 70-year-old out of retirement for a major rebuild?
While your thought process maybe 100% on the money, I don't believe Mainieri is part of the Problem. HOPEFULLY, he is just part of a plan to give us more time to make 'The Right' long-term coaching hire. After all, he IS the current ACTIVE Division One wins leader in NCAA Baseball today..... and something like 6th, 4th??? all-time. Won a College World Series too.
Just saying ... perhaps there's a method to Ray's Madness or something, ???Research/Planning/Watching/Studying/Idunno??? Ray Does Know NCAA Baseball ... and to argue that is ridiculous.

Getting hammered in game 3. Why don’t they just end this miserable season. Forfeit the rest, lose 2-0 at least they can say they played them close!!
