We all had our doubts about him being an athletic director, but I thought he would at least make sure the baseball program continued its long proud history. If he doesn't fire Kingston I am convinced he is totally inept.

You are not convinced already? However, I have to admit I thought he'd be a faithful watchdog of the baseball program. Instead, he has acted as though he hardly knew them.

Yep, hard to use respect for the baseball program as an excuse for neglecting football for so many years, when he lets both programs slide.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome is what we are doing.
The real solution is to find another conference and change.
If we do not we will continie to doing the same thing over and over.

Fire him as A.D., and offer him redemption as Head Baseball Coach. Our former A.D., now at Texas A&M, put Tanner to shame.
What make Ross any better? I can see it now if we would have paid all the money they did for NIL and had the season they had last year, he'd be the dumbest person alive to some of you!!

I think he is referring to Eric Hyman (2005-2012) who left here in 2012 and went to A&M. He was the best athletic director Carolina ever had. He had national connections and was directly responsible for the most successful period of Carolina athletics in its history, for whatever reason he was not liked by the Trustees. I guess he was too successful for them.

Tanner got his 2 year extension on 3/17/23, when baseball was flying, hey he did do that right and complete it in a timely fashion. So he is competent at certain things.

Isn't the board member that was over athletics or assigned or whatever now the Chairman, Thad Westbrook?
You can only assume he has been right there with Tanner through the years and supported him and maybe agreed with the bad decisions.

Tanner isn't going anywhere, at least for 2 more years.

Tanner will never live down his hiring of Will Muschamp and then the mismanagement and bad decisions of it thereafter.

I was baffled by the hire and still am.

Even Florida fans were like REALLY?! what that heck is going through y’all’s heads????

It set the football program back a good decade.

Tanner owes 10 years of salary back for crappy performance!
