Is there any reason we are not going after this homegrown product? Is it known to the coaches he doesn't want to stay home? Just can't believe they aren't all over him. Hell of a player.

Jesus..this guy is baller. Let him slip away. I'm sure a 2* is still out there for us to nap at the last minute

From what I understand he's just not interested. I don't know if he's too fragile for Frank or what but he's never seriously considered us.

There is no way one of you still thinks he ever wanted to come here. Nobody is that stupid. He has zero interest in us.

He had already committed to go out of state. That's a pretty good indicator that he wasn't interested in either school.

It's best to leave this guy alone. He will follow Shackles to Texas where they can make him an even sweeter deal than SS did at VCU. I wouldn't waste time on someone who doesn't want me.

There will be a day when Frank can land talented kids like this. But unfortunately right now he can't.

We just need to be patience and give him 10 year s or so.

I don't think you can under estimate this situation. It seems he might want to stay closer to home once he stood back and looked at things. Things in Texas are not the same as they were at VCU. Different players, location, and many other factors. Things that fall through can make you reassess your thinking. I say go after him. It's not like you have anything to lose.....

Need to run off two more guys to have the space to land him. Frank was very late in entering his recruitment and it was really surprising. Frank landing Dozier was important because if he struck out on both Dozier and Mack, it would make him seem completely out of touch with local talent.

Mack was in contact with UGA and Fox since he was a 9th grader because Fox coached his brother at Nevada.

Clemson has the space and was eliminated last summer, but now has found a way to get back into the hunt. I doubt he chooses them, but Brownell and his staff have been aggressive in their pursuit. Clemson has been rather ho-hum in recruiting and their basketball program has been in neutral, they need something to shake things up. Clemson better be focused on recruiting posts for 2016 because Blossomgame will likely be the hottest graduate transfer on the market next Spring. Wouldn't shock me at all to see Blossomgame in the SEC in 2016-17.

I think Dozier is a better player. I think he soured on us when we took Dozier. Family members wanted him to stay closer to home. He signed with Shaka Smart at VCU. I cannot imagine that he was enamored by Richmond Va. He asked for his release. Smart, Kansas and Georgia are interested in him now/still. You can bet we have put out feelers. You can bet that we have done everything possible to try to turn him. What would you have Frank do now?

This. I've said it at least two or three times now. Barring two more transfers, there just plain isn't any room. Is that really so hard to understand? Can no one on here add to thirteen? Whether or not he's interested, we're not going to sign him or anyone else.

4th Gen says "This. I've said it at least two or three times now. Barring two more transfers, there just plain isn't any room. Is that really so hard to understand? It is all about arrogance. Mack thinks he is to good to play for the instate schools.

It seems down to Texas and Georgia. Texas fans are pretty confident, maybe 70/30 is the feeling. Texas has some good big men and really needs a shooter. Particularly in the new offense.
