I was thinking he might be the next Kenny McKinley (QB to WR) but just hasnt made the transition well. If i was the coaching staff I would have played him at RB during the bowl game to get him some touches.Good kid. Hope the best for him. One of the most heralded in state recruits over the last few years. And many seemed to think him coming back was a huge deal. I guess. But DK is a mystery to me. You now have two coaching staffs that haven't found a way to turn him into the high impact player everyone expected when he got on campus. I don't that expect to change next year. Just one of those recruits that seems to have all of the skills to be a big time difference maker, but one just wonders where the disconnect was.
I don't know. Seems like both staffs have tried him around the edges in a lot of different ways. And it seems that his most effective times have been when inserted as a QB just to change things up. But that is always going to be just that. Just a change to try.and cause a little confusion by a different look. Saw the kid in high school and never imagined that no matter what program he went to that he wouldn't be a high impact player from day one. He has all the tools. Just a mysteryI was thinking he might be the next Kenny McKinley (QB to WR) but just hasnt made the transition well. If i was the coaching staff I would have played him at RB during the bowl game to get him some touches.
