They have 2 responsibilities. The first of course is to coach. The better coaches can take a 3 star at one school and make him better than a 4 or 5 star at another school. The second job is recruiting. A good assistant coach can lock down his recruiting targets. If a coach is not good at closing the deal on recruiting he sure better be able to coach his 3 stars up. It seems to me we have several coaches currently on staff who can do neither. This does not bode well for the next few years for our football team. I sure hope SOS has major changes in store in the coming weeks because if not you are gonna hear him utter those 5 words early and often in the future and those words are..."It is what it is".
