I was thinking the same thing about several players from the Midlands that ended up in the C of C dugout instead of the Gamecock one. Monte Lee knew how to gather the best players from right under our noses. He scooped up Nick Pappas, a freshman all american last year out of Dutch Fork, Carl Wise who is likely to be drafted very early this year out of White Knoll and Ryan Brown out of Lexington last year who just killed us tonight. By the way, Ryan Brown's coach at Lexington, Brian Hucks would have killed for him to have become a Gamecock seeing as how he bleeds Garnet and Black and was a former captain of the Gamecocks. The only one that got away from the Cougars was Josh Reagan who decommitted from C of C to become a Gamecock.
