performances to road games. I suppose the relatively low number of Gamecock fans in attendance, the disorientation that comes with road games - different/not-as-nice locker rooms, strange stadium surroundings, travel, etc., combined with the general unease of an away game, i.e. dealing with the 'Walking Dead' fans in Athens, all make for a less focused, disciplined working environment for the coaching staff. Let's just say there has been a tendency to lay back . . . underperform. Some assistants have even gotten into fist fights . . . . . .

The inherent problems with road trips, however, appear to have popped up in HOME games in 2014 and this season, as well.
