It is a little different there. Private school. Not subject to 11.5 scholarship limit. He can full ride everybody. Vandy has an excellent academic rep as well.

Ive never understood why we haven't ever heard increasing the limit subject come up for discussion at the league or NCAA level.

I believe it's primarily a Title IX issue. Three big men's sports...football, basketball and baseball. Baseball takes the hit for the other two.

Yes we do. Rarely do we ever have a single player on a full ride. It's a sad fact but that's why so few blacks playing college baseball?

NO,,,still only 11.7 scholarships to hand out,,,but being a private school they have more academic and private fund scholarships to give

No, Duke is limited to 13 ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS, same as everyone else. However, they can have additional players on an ACADEMIC scholarship and use the athletic one for someone else.

North Carolina has a Morehead Scholarship (academic) that is sometimes used to replace the athletic scholarship. Had a friend that played high school basketball with that got the Morehead scholarship from UNC. He was 6-11.

UNC also has the Fregrade Athletic Scholarship. It wasn't really well known until recently, but it has influenced many athletes decision(s) of where to attend college
