Mauldin, SC
and is having a solid season. Wish we had him and des anybody know why he transferred. Happy Thanksgiving to all you guys and girls.

That's a very good question. I think Hannibal and the other guy transferred because they thought Martin was on the hot seat.
Martin is a hardass who demands perfection. Kids these days don't want tough coaching.
Not true. If you want to be a hardass, you better win. An example of that is Belichick. He can be hard because he wins. His disciples try that stuff in other places and they fall flat on their face. The same people that disliked Frank’s style now disliked it when he went to the Final Four. However, you hold your nose and accept it when you are winning.

It is completely plausible that Hannibal did not execute what Frank wanted from the PG spot. While extremely athletic with the capability of making great plays, he played out of control a bunch too. I loved Hannibal and hated to see him go, but at this point it seems it was beneficial for both parties. Glad he is seemingly doing well at Murray Sate. Loved his energy

I felt Trae was a huge disappointment here. He did occasionally show flashes of brilliance, but was a huge liability on defense and was out of control more than he was in control. Glad he is having success in his new home, but we are honestly probably better off without him.

I agree. Potentially a great player but plays out of control.

I think moving was best for Trae, and was best for USC. Loved this guy, but cringed to see him out of control. Hope he has an outstanding year, and glad he was a Gamecock!

We don’t want Pitino. Nobody would want to sit their children in the lower section with him out there. There is profanity and obscenity, and way above that there is Pitino. He knows basketball, but the other stuff comes with it.

I actually liked Hannibal and definitely think he has potential but it seemed pretty obvious that the two didn't see eye to eye. I'm not surprised that he transferred but I had hoped he would turn more into a Hassani Gravett in his final season in how he seemed to finally grasp what Frank wanted from him.

Speaking of former players Haase had a 41 point game a couple of weeks ago as well.

Agree with all the other stuff. Comes across as scum and believe Martin has values he actually stands behind

I think last season Coach Martin relieved him of one game where Trae did not even dress out (might have been an away game where Treae did not travel with the team) and had nothing to do with health or discipline issues. Coach Martin just said during that time that Trae needed a break.

Frank will not get canned this year, we are going to be one of the surprise teams nationally.
People have been saying that for the last five years. We have won a couple games that we should have. However, nothing has indicated that we will be a surprise team nationally or make any noise in the conference.

We have some ‘name’ teams coming up at home we will get a clearer picture of who we are. Georgetown and Florida State. I believe we need more of an inside presence offensively and cut down our turnovers. But I love our personnel with the size and ability to score. We have shown flashes of our ability but not quite there with the consistency. I like our leadership though and think we can get there. Just my opinion
