Mississippi State WR Malik Heath, a former Gamecock target out of JUCO, is in the transfer portal and tells me the Gamecocks have been in contact.

He has one year of eligibility left and he hinted at the possibility of taking a visit soon.

This past season he had 34 receptions for 442 yards with five touchdowns.

As y'all know, portal recruiting shifts quickly. Not ready to go much further than to say that he's at least a player to keep an eye on.
