8-0 for the guy we told no. WKU is a solid G5 team, probably comparable to App State or Coastal. They’re up 35-16 late, should wrap it up soon. That offense efficient.

Liberty does NOT have a roster with athletes so superior to their schedule that they’re going 8-0. Its stop #4 where he will over achieve rapidly and win yet another conference championship

His offense is currently 9th in the nation according to ESPN. Fire Ray Tanner. Defense is 33rd in the nation. Fire Ray.

In year 1, with an all new scheme, the offense and defense are that good, with CUSA players playing an CUSA schedule. LUs recruiting the last few years: 2023 4th in CUSA, Their 2022 and 2021 were as independent but both ranked worse overall (126 and 128) than their 2023. So LUs roster has generally average playera compared to their CUSA opponents

Fire Ray.

I certainly cant argue with building Coastal into a successful program, but he inherited a strong Liberty roster from Hugh Freeze. It will take 2-3 years to see how it goes.

He also has a history of NCAA infractions which is probably part of why he didn't get a good look here.

Thats a fair point. But look at recruiting rankings the last 5-6 years, Liberty was always around the 120s nationally, so the bottom of FBS, below some FCS. So Freeze didn’t stock up a roster that was like an ACC one playing in CUSA.

Chadwell wasnt a Freeze assistant either. So all new system and staff, with a roster that was rated as an FBS bottom feeder
